civ 6 detailed worlds

Civilization 6 is the sixth installment in the Civilization series of turn-based strategy video games. You can control one of 20 world leaders, take on a custom empire, or have the game pick one for you at random. The game takes place in real-time and you can pause the action to take your time with decisions, but once unpaused things happen quickly. As ruler of an empire you must guide its development from age into age, ensuring that your people are happy and have everything they need to work toward victory. The game was developed by Scattle and Firaxis, and published by 2K Games. It was released on September 25, 2013 for Microsoft Windows. Plans are in place to release the game for OS X, iOS, Linux and Android devices. Civilization 6 is the sixth main installment of the series. It is also Firaxis' first official entry into that franchise since "Civ 5" in 2010. Civilization 6 retains the turn-based gameplay of previous games with significant differences to be discussed below. There are several playable civilizations throughout history with humans being one of them. The game includes deeper city management, with districts replacing standalone cities. These districts serve as specialized areas that allow for different bonuses when placed adjacent to each other. For example, when placed adjacent to a harbor, an industrial district will provide extra production. This enables deeper city planning by allowing one tile to act as two cities in respect to their specializations. Districts also act as specialized buildings for each of the game's 20 leader characters, with some examples being the Egyptian bazaar which provides bonus gold whenever the player is fighting barbarians and the Chinese academy which gives bonus XP whenever you train a new unit type. The tile system in the game is completely redone, with the new hexagonal design being a major departure from previous games that used square tiles. The developer's reasoning behind this change is to make it easier for players to tell which side of the tile they are looking at, due to the fact that important information is displayed on both sides of a unit or city tile. Certain terrain also provides certain bonuses when you settle cities on them, such as extra health for jungle tiles. Also settlements can now be built along a "river-road" allowing your units to move faster when traveling through forests and snow-covered lands. The game is set across history and takes place in multiple periods, each one determined by the player's choices at the beginning of the game. You can choose between 20 different civilizations to play as. Each civilization has its own unique strengths and weaknesses and players must decide which strategy will work best for them. The game features a full-featured scenario editor so players can create their own custom scenarios with any number of different difficulty levels, units, leaders, maps, etc. Players are also able to share their customized scenarios with others through Steam Workshop. Civilization 6 is the first Civ game to offer 5 modern ages. eccc085e13
